I made an appointment by phone , it took 40 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Can you please tell me why it takes so long for someone to answer the phone? If you say because of Covid, could you please explain why this makes Newgate Medical Centre take all this time to answer the phone.

Doctors, nurses and all the specialists and administrative staff are extremely helpful and supportive and do their best to help in these challenging times

Can not fault this practice,they have been absolutly brillant , was diganosed with large fibroids that was and still is causing me a lot of pain(awaiting sugery),but newgate are looking after very well ,despite the covid crisis,iv been able to still go for appointments,obtain sick notes ,all staff and doctors,nurse practioners are lovely, under the care of nigel allison at the moment and hes been amazing ,monitering my bp to get it down so i can have my operation ,thank you to everyone at newgate for looking after me so well

I have given one star to illustrate just how bad the Medical Centre has become.

I would like to know and i am sure lots more patients at Newgate Medical Centre why are we being kept in the dark as to when the corvid 19 vaccine is going to be started. If for any reason you have not got the facility or staff to administer this have the courtesy to keep your patients informed. A simple message on your website would put peoples mind at ease. Woodhouse, Sheffield, Todwick and Larwood have been giving the vaccine for a few weeks know.
